 Static synchronous series compensator

A Static Synchronous Series Compensator (SSSC) is a type of FACTS (Flexible AC Transmission System) device used in power systems to enhance the transmission capacity and stability of electrical networks. It consists of a voltage source converter (VSC) connected in series with the transmission line.
