Languedoc-Roussillon is a former administrative region in the southern part of France, known for its diverse landscapes, rich history, and cultural heritage. It was located along the Mediterranean coast and bordered the regions of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur to the east, Auvergne to the north, and Midi-Pyrénées to the west, as well as Spain to the southwest.
