Robert F. Christy (1916–2012) was an American physicist who made significant contributions to several fields, including nuclear physics and astrophysics. He is perhaps best known for his work on the Manhattan Project during World War II, where he was involved in the development of the atomic bomb. After the war, Christy continued his research in theoretical physics and made notable contributions to the understanding of neutrinos and other subatomic particles.
