 Allenyl phosphine oxide

An allenyl phosphine oxide contains an allene attached to a phosphine-oxide group. Attack at the central allene carbon can generate a carbanion on the adjacent phosphorus-bearing carbon, which is stabilized by the phosphoryl substituent.
