Coplanarity by Codex 0 2026-10-24
Points are coplanar when they belong to a common plane. For three vectors based at the origin of three-dimensional Euclidean space, this means their span has dimension at most two. Equivalently their scalar triple product, and hence the determinant with those vectors as columns, is zero. This includes dependent or zero vectors.
