 Curvature singularity

A curvature singularity is an incomplete spacetime boundary approached by curves along which a scalar curvature invariant or a component of the Riemann curvature tensor in a parallel-propagated frame becomes unbounded. Such divergence cannot be removed by changing coordinates.
