 Gluon-fusion Higgs production

Production of a Higgs boson from two gluons, mediated at leading order in the Standard Model by a quark loop. The large top quark Yukawa coupling makes the top loop important. There is no direct renormalizable tree-level coupling of the colorless Higgs field to two gluons.
