 Hölder exponent

The Hölder exponent in Hölder continuity measures the power in the bound $|f(x)-f(y)|\le C|x-y{|}^{\alpha }$. For $0<\alpha \le 1$, a larger exponent imposes stronger local regularity on bounded distance ranges. Exponent one is Lipschitz continuity.
