The light-quark member of the spin-three-halves baryon decuplet has strangeness , baryon number , flavor hypercharge , and isospin zero. The Gell-Mann--Nishijima formula gives electric charge minus one. Its position at the bottom of the decuplet's triangular weight diagram follows by replacing all three up or down quarks with strange quarks.
