Point accumulation for imaging in nanoscale topography
ID: point-accumulation-for-imaging-in-nanoscale-topography
Transiently binding fluorescent probes provide spatially separated single-emitter observations whose fitted positions accumulate into a structural map. Probe exchange can replenish bleached emitters. Precision, specificity, event density, optical background and drift all affect the usable resolution; accumulating events does not itself remove systematic labelling error.
