 Polyvinylpyrrolidone

A polymer containing pyrrolidone groups, widely used as a soluble stabilizer or capping agent. In silver nanostructure synthesis its adsorption can affect facet growth and aggregation. Residual polymer can also create electrically resistive nanowire junctions.
