 Ramond–Ramond potential

A differential-form gauge potential from the Ramond–Ramond sector. A D-brane carries electric or magnetic charge under the appropriate potential. Circle reduction of the M-theory metric gives the IIA one-form potential, while its three-form gives the IIA three-form potential.
