 Supersymmetric vacuum

A vacuum of a globally supersymmetric gauge theory preserves supersymmetry exactly when every auxiliary F-field and D-field can vanish simultaneously. Its vacuum energy is then zero because the scalar potential is a sum of nonnegative squares.
