An active transformation keeps the coordinate argument fixed and changes a contravariant vector field by A′μ(x)=ΛμνAν(Λ−1x). Infinitesimally, δAμ=αωμνAν−αωρσxσ∂ρAμ. For a Lorentz scalar density, the spin-index term is absent, giving δL=−αωρσxσ∂ρL.
