Let E be the union of integer intervals [22j,22j+1) for j≥0. Every nonempty sum of distinct 4j has largest summand 4J and lies in [4J,2⋅4J), since the sum of all smaller summands is (4J−1)/3. Thus FS(4j)⊆E. Doubling gives FS(2⋅4j)⊆Ec. Both sides are IP sets. Each can be adjoined to the IP-star filter while preserving the finite intersection property, yielding two distinct IP ultrafilters.
