For isometry families fx:U→U′ and gy:U′→U′′, the complement of gyfx(V) decomposes orthogonally as the complement of gy(W) plus the image under gy of the complement of fx(V) in W. Their fiberwise one-point compactifications therefore give the same Thom space as the external direct sum. The resulting stage isomorphisms respect structure maps and give Y⋉g(X⋉fE)≅(Y×X)⋉g∘fE in the stable homotopy category.
