For a finite family with a dependency graph of events, if 0≤xi<1 satisfy P(Ei)≤xi∏j∈N(i)(1−xj), then P(⋂iEic)≥∏i(1−xi)>0. Choosing equal xi gives the familiar symmetric criterion eq(d+1)≤1 when event probabilities are at most q and the maximum dependency degree is d.
