For massless quarks at photon-exchange tree level, the initial-spin-averaged, final-color-summed amplitude is ∣M∣2=8Nce4Qq2[(p1⋅q1)(p2⋅q2)+(p1⋅q2)(p2⋅q1)]/s2. In the centre-of-mass frame this is Nce4Qq2(1+cos2θ). With Nc=3 and the standard two-body flux, its integrated cross-section is the displayed result.
