For pressureless matter, put C=8πGρma3/3>0 and use units c=1. The flat Friedmann equation is a˙2=C/a+Λa2/3. Substitution u=a3/2 gives u˙2=(9/4)(C+Λu2/3). With a Big Bang at t=0, positive cosmological constant gives a=(3C/Λ)1/3sinh2/3(3Λt/2). Negative cosmological constant replaces the hyperbolic sine by sin(3∣Λ∣t/2) and produces recollapse at 2π/3∣Λ∣. Zero cosmological constant gives a=(9C/4)1/3t2/3.
