For Φa=f(r)xa/r and Aia=ϵiajxjα(r) with [ea,eb]=ϵabcec, set K=1+r2α. The equation B=−DΦ equates radial coefficients to give f′=−2α−r2α2 and transverse coefficients to give rα′+2α=−f/r−rαf. These are exactly the displayed two radial equations. The sign depends on the chosen orientation and on the order of indices in the gauge ansatz.
