For h=αdx2+βdy2+χ(dz−ydx)2, the Kaluza-Klein decomposition along a Killing field ∂x has V=α+χy2, A=−χydz/V and γ=βdy2+αχdz2/V. For a Riemannian metric, positive constants make the fibre norm and quotient metric positive everywhere.
