An additive subtraction can produce a source in the renormalization-group equation. If GR=GB−alog(Λ0/Λ) and the bare correlator is invariant under D=Λ∂Λ+β(g)∂g, then DGR=a. A vanishing operator anomalous dimension does not remove this source.
