Kemnitz theorem

Every sequence of $4p-3$ elements of ${\mathbb{F}}_p^2$, where $p$ is prime, contains $p$ terms whose sum is zero. A proof applies the Chevalley-Warning theorem to the cardinality and two coordinate sums and then double-counts zero-sum subsequences.
