Primary contemporary or near-contemporary representation, Tissandier collection, LOT 13400 no. 60. The catalogue identifies the vignette with arrest and conviction as a tax farmer. Its engraved caption has a faulty trial-date label; use it for contemporary representation, not to override the 8 May 1794 execution chronology.
