Primary book record and digitization, Internet Archive identifier christianvirtu00boyluoft. The explicit title presents experimental philosophy as assisting Christian commitment. It is cited for that declared project, not as proof that every religious institution endorsed every experiment.
Primary sentence excerpt reproduced by Museo Galileo. Specifies the finding of vehement suspicion of heresy, prohibition of the Dialogue, imprisonment and penance. Its date must not be replaced by 1616 or 1630.
Primary letter in English translation. The passages on sense experience, necessary demonstrations and nonliteral interpretation explain a religious argument for intellectual jurisdiction, not a rejection of all scriptural authority.
Primary communication: introduction dated 30 June 1858; read 1 July; this record identifies printing on 20 August. Includes Darwin extracts and Wallace's independent essay. The editorial correction concerning the date of Darwin's early sketch must not be confused with the words of the 1858 introduction.
Primary first-edition text, originally anonymous. Chapters General Considerations respecting the Origin of the Animated Tribes and Hypothesis of the Development of the Vegetable and Animal Kingdoms are cited. This is not a late edition silently treated as the 1844 argument.
Primary Part II, chapter I. Contrasts the organization of living bodies with inorganic aggregation, describing contained fluids and containing tissues. The claim of natural physical causes does not remove these organizational distinctions.
Primary volume I, printed p. 92, with the preceding discussion at p. 91: organisms produce compounds; their remains become materials subsequently simplified; the explicit cross-reference is to Hydrogéologie, p. 112.
Primary book digitization at Museo Galileo. The indexed text of printed p. 188 connects cumulative fluid action with organization and long duration. The full PDF timed out during this check, so no claim is made to have freshly inspected every page. The related original 1809 discussion explicitly cites Hydrogéologie, p. 112.
Primary contemporary or near-contemporary representation, Tissandier collection, LOT 13400 no. 60. The catalogue identifies the vignette with arrest and conviction as a tax farmer. Its engraved caption has a faulty trial-date label; use it for contemporary representation, not to override the 8 May 1794 execution chronology.
Primary official report republished in Archives parlementaires, volume XC, pp. 74–80. Documents the administrative and financial prosecution and referral; accusations do not establish the truth of every alleged fraud.
Primary collected edition in the ETH Library / e-rara. Scientific instrument descriptions and pneumatic trials belong to the original 1660 programme; later continuations and the contents of this 1682 edition must not all be silently dated to 1660.
Primary text: preface on improving the senses; Observation I on a needle, XVIII on cork and XXXIV on fly eyes. The Royal Society printing order dated 1664 must not replace the book's 1665 publication date.
Primary treatise in Robert Willis's English translation, in a later collection. Chapters VIII–IX discuss circulation and throughput; chapter XIII discusses the veins and their valves. The modern editor's introduction is separate from the primary text.
Primary fictional work. The concluding description of Salomon's House sets out facilities, offices and rules for deciding what is disclosed. Later editorial introductory claims about modern universities are not Bacon's own text.
Museum account using quoted correspondence and the combined court title. This curatorial contextual source is distinguished from a transcription of the appointment decree.
Primary letter in English translation, with its three numbered arguments. The date is 12 April 1615. Hypothetical mathematical use, scriptural interpretation and an actual physical demonstration are distinguished. The examination prints 1616; that is not the date of this document.
Primary 1945 report; chapters 3, 4 and 6 on federal support, training and institutional arrangements.
Research article, 1984, Cadernos de História e Filosofia da Ciência 6, 63–84. Inspected research abstract and notice of accompanying translated primary paper; no claim to have read the unavailable full article.
Royal Society primary manuscript archive, EL/B3/13; annual stellar observations and attached mathematical analysis.
Institutional archive account of the Lapland expedition and polar-flattening result.
Institutional historical account; paragraph on the 1705 prediction and 1758 return.
Primary-book record and digitization, volume I, a Bridgewater Treatise. Its title and declared subject establish an explicit conjunction of geology and natural theology; they are not evidence for every detailed reconciliation sometimes attributed to William Buckland.

Volume I of the first edition. Its title specifies explanation of former changes by reference to causes now in operation. This narrow title-page claim is the one cited here; no later-edition passage is presented as an inspected first-edition passage.
Fifth English edition, with separately headed Geological Illustrations by Robert Jameson. The main essay, printed pp. 239–240, distinguishes the last revolution from earlier changes; Robert Jameson's On the Universal Deluge begins at printed p. 417. Editorial arguments must not silently become Georges Cuvier's own words.
Volume I of the 1795 work. Chapter I discusses habitability and decay/renewal; chapter VI, section II describes the Jedburgh relations between steep older beds, conglomerate and horizontal younger strata. This edition is not the 1788 journal printing.
Primary text in English translation. Part I, question 46, articles 1–2 distinguishes dependence on a creator from demonstration of a temporal beginning. Objections must not be quoted as Thomas Aquinas's own final position.
Primary statutes in a translated extract. They require Aristotelian logic while prohibiting books of natural philosophy and metaphysics. The surrounding editorial notes and the 1255 reference in those notes are not themselves clauses of the 1215 statutes.

The 1972 institutional reprint preserves the lecture delivered on 11 December 1970. It discusses agricultural production and population pressure, and rejects a miracle-variety account of the programme. The similarly named PDF currently served at the Nobel site's borlaug-lecture.pdf path is a different 2000 lecture and must not be silently cited as this one.

Contemporary report: pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/cen-v041n024.p036
The report of the testimony distinguishes a continuing need for pesticides from the demand for tighter controls and stronger research. It should not be cited as advocacy of prohibiting every pesticide application.
Arabic text, French translation and mathematical commentary by Erwan Penchèvre. The introduction distinguishes the surviving exposition from the lost observational work and describes manuscript witnesses. The mathematical commentary gives modern reconstructions rather than attributing all of its proof notation to the original author.
Original historical research, Arabic Sciences and Philosophy 1(2), pp. 285–291. The 2008 online publication date must not replace the 1991 issue date. The abstract distinguishes plane and spherical applications; access to the full article may require a subscription.

Primary paper, Science 171, 1212–1217. Its opening decomposition is population multiplied by impact per person. A further division of per-capita impact into affluence and technology is an analytical decomposition, not a verbatim attribution of a three-factor formula to every part of this paper.
Primary speech reproduced from the September–October 1963 issue of Audubon. Documents continued wildlife impacts under officially organized spraying and objections raised by affected farmers.
Primary book; the DOI identifies a reproduced extract in The Future of Nature. Cited for the relationship between population, land degradation and ecological productive capacity. Access to the complete digitized book may require borrowing.
Primary first-edition text. Chapters I–II contrast population increase with subsistence. This edition is a source for the population argument, not proof of which particular edition Darwin read.
The Introduction contains the opening challenge to a unified Scientific Revolution. The publisher link describes the 2018 second edition, which retains that opening argument.
Primary text in the English edition reproduced by Gutenberg. Book I, aphorisms 19, 38–44 and 95–105 are the cited methodological passages.
