For fixed δ>0, the Mertens first theorem and partial summation imply convergence of ∑p1/(p(logp)δ) and, more precisely, the displayed tail asymptotic with error O((logx)−1−δ). Write A(t)=∑p≤t(logp)/p=logt+O(1) and integrate against (logt)−1−δ. The boundary at infinity vanishes; combining the finite boundary with the integral gives the coefficient 1/δ.
