For one real phi-fourth theory field, each of the three labeled one-loop four-point channels has symmetry factor 1/2. In d=4−2ϵ, the displayed expression is its amplitude through the finite part. The three poles require δλ=3λ2/(32π2ϵ), and differentiating λB=μ2ϵ(λ+δλ) at fixed bare coupling gives β(λ)=3λ2/(16π2)+O(λ3) in four dimensions. The minimal subtraction scheme retains log(4π)−γE; modified minimal subtraction absorbs that constant. The Feynman-parameter logarithm is left unevaluated.
