Multiplication-by-n morphism ($[n{]}_G$)

For a commutative group scheme $G$, the multiplication-by-$n$ morphism $[n{]}_G:G\to G$ adds a point to itself $n$ times. On an abelian variety, it is surjective for every nonzero integer $n$.
