Apply the Itô formula separately to cosine and sine, using [B]t=t:
dXt=−YtdBt−21Xtdt,dYt=XtdBt−21Ytdt.
(1)
In vector standard form dZt=σ(Zt)dBt+b(Zt)dt, with one-dimensional driving noise and two-dimensional state, the coefficient functions are
σ(x,y)=(−yx),b(x,y)=−21(xy).
(2)
The original trigonometric process starts at (1,0), but these coefficient functions define a stochastic differential equation on all of R2.
