1E
Since 4−1≡16(mod21) and 2−1≡23(mod45), the two linear congruences reduce to
x≡16(mod21),x≡25(mod45).
(1)
Write x=16+21k. The second congruence becomes
21k≡9(mod45),
(2)
or 7k≡3(mod15) after division by three. Since 7−1≡13(mod15), k≡9(mod15). The Chinese remainder theorem therefore gives the complete family
x≡205(mod315).
(3)
The modulus is lcm(21,45)=315 because the compatibility condition modulo their greatest common divisor is satisfied.
