Using the stated convention for the Riemann curvature tensor, the first independent component is
Rrϕrϕ=∂rΓϕϕr−ΓϕrϕΓϕϕr=−(cosh2r+sinh2r)+cosh2r=−sinh2r.
(1)
The other is
Rϕrϕr=−∂rΓrϕϕ−ΓrϕϕΓϕrϕ=csch2r−coth2r=−1,
(2)
using the hyperbolic Pythagorean identity coth2r−csch2r=1. Antisymmetry in the final two indices supplies the components with those indices reversed. These are the curvature of the two-dimensional hyperbolic polar metric components.
