Primitive real-analytic Eisenstein series (E(τ,s)=21∑gcd(m,n)=1∣mτ+n∣2sys)

For Res>1 this Eisenstein series also equals ∑γ∈Γ∞\SL2(Z)(Imγτ)s, where Γ∞ consists of translations and their negatives. It is modular invariant. The nonholomorphic Eisenstein series summed over all nonzero integer pairs instead equals 2ζ(2s)E(τ,s): separate each pair into a positive integer times a primitive pair. This normalization matters in Rankin–Selberg unfolding.
