In ds2=(αx)2dt2−dx2, a constant-x0>0 observer has t=cτ/(αx0). The nonzero Christoffel symbols are Γttx=Γtxt=1/x and Γxtt=α2x. Its covariant acceleration components are at=0, ax=c2/x0, with invariant magnitude c2/x0. This is constant proper acceleration, not a covariantly constant four-vector. In inertial coordinates the worldline is the hyperbola X2−c2T2=x02.
