The modular discriminant satisfies 1728Δ=E43−E62, while the Serre derivative gives 2ΘE6=E2E6−E42. Their integral Fourier expansions have E4≡1 and E2≡E6(mod5), because d5≡d(mod5). Reducing the two identities gives Δ≡ΘE6(mod5). The coefficient of qn in ΘE6 is −504nσ5(n)≡nσ5(n).
