For the canonical Dirichlet Green function with logarithmic singularity, its harmonic correction satisfies Gz(z)=−logcradD(z). If ϕ maps the unit disc to D with ϕ(0)=z, then
Gz(ϕ(w))=−logwϕ(w)−ϕ(0).

The quotient extends at zero to ϕ′(0). On unbounded domains the canonical Green function, rather than boundary values alone, fixes the harmonic correction.
