Regulated complex Fresnel integral (∫Ce(iλ−α)∣z∣2d2z=π/(α−iλ))

For α>0, polar coordinates reduce the integral to 2π∫0∞re−(α−iλ)r2dr. The result is π/(α−iλ). Its damped limit for real λ>0 is iπ/λ, which fixes the sign of the oscillatory complex Gaussian integral. The Fresnel integral convention can be compared with NIST definitions.
