For scalar metric potentials ds2=a2[−(1+2A)dτ2+2B,idτdxi+((1−2ψ)δij+2E,ij)dxidxj] and positive extrinsic curvature, δKij=a−1[−(ψ′+HA)δij+∂i∂j(E′−B)]. The scalar shear terms cancel between its divergence and trace gradient. With ji=−PμiTμνnν, the momentum constraint becomes 2∂i(ψ′+HA)/a=−8πGji. Reversing the convention for K reverses the geometric left side.
