For the one-dimensional B411 contribution to the one-loop matter bispectrum, contracting two hard inputs in the fourth-order field gives −(IΛ/2)k2δ(2), where IΛ=∫qh<∣q∣<ΛdqPL(q)/(2πq2). A counterterm C(Λ)∂x2δ(2) cancels this cutoff-dependent part when C(Λ)=−IΛ/2+Cfinite. This sign follows from ∂x2↔−k2; the finite coefficient describes unresolved short-scale dynamics.
