For r>b and P=∣r−r0∣, the displayed kernel satisfies ϕ=∫r∞ds/[s∣sr−r0∣]. The limit at b=0 is 1/r. Differentiating along Q×r0, which preserves b, gives (Q×r0)⋅∇r0ϕ=(Q×r0)⋅r/F. Thus it generates the normalized magnetic scalar potential in the Sarvas formula.
