Star of a cone in a fan ($\mathrm{Star}(\tau )$)

For a cone $\tau \in \Sigma$, its star is the fan in the quotient by $\mathrm{span}(\tau )$ formed from the images of all cones $\sigma$ containing $\tau$ as a face.
