For
Qα(x)=π1∫0πcos(xsinθ−αθ)dθ,
(1)
fixed α and x→+∞, the stationary point near π/2 gives
Qα(x)∼πx2cos(x−2πα−4π).
(2)
When α=x, the stationary point coalesces cubically with the endpoint at zero and the leading order changes to x−1/3.
