The factorial bound for a Volterra iterate gives convergence in the space of bounded strongly measurable L2-valued functions on [0,T]. The sum solves (I−τ)f=F, where F=Ua(t,0)f0, and satisfies supt≤T∥f(t)∥2≤eCT∥f0∥2. Applying the same iterate bound to a difference g=τg proves uniqueness on every finite interval.
