The primary spectroscopic monitoring study compares H-alpha wind emission with X-ray state changes. The wind-to-accretion interpretation depends on wind velocity and ionization as well as mass loss; its abstract reports that a stronger H-alpha wind need not yield a brighter soft X-ray state.
