R-principle

The R-principle, or the Principle of R, is a concept from the field of physics, particularly in statistical mechanics and thermodynamics. It describes how systems evolve over time and the nature of equilibrium. In a broad sense, it often refers to the idea that systems tend to move towards states of maximum entropy or disorder.
