As of my last update in October 2023, there is no widely recognized figure or significant information associated with the name Robert Ochsenfeld. It's possible that he may be a private individual, or perhaps a figure who gained prominence after that date, or in a niche field not covered broadly in mainstream sources.

An experimental physicist who, with Walther Meissner, discovered that cooling a material into superconductivity can reorganize an already present magnetic field. Their 1933 measurements on tin and lead cylinders showed the field being expelled from the superconducting material. This Meissner effect supplies information beyond zero electrical resistance: merely preserving an existing field, as an ideal conductor would, does not explain the observed change on cooling.[ref]
