 Acrolein

The conjugated aldehyde $\mathrm{C}{\mathrm{H}}_2=\mathrm{CHCHO}$. A carbon nucleophile can add at its carbonyl carbon or, in a conjugate addition, at the terminal beta carbon. Atom mapping distinguishes the two products.
