 Chlorofluorocarbon

A compound composed of carbon, chlorine and fluorine, with no hydrogen. Many such fully halogenated molecules resist lower-atmospheric attack but release reactive chlorine after stratospheric photodissociation, contributing to catalytic ozone destruction.
