 Classification of compact symplectic surfaces

Two compact connected symplectic surfaces are symplectomorphic exactly when their genus of a surface and symplectic area agree. The sufficiency follows from Moser theorem applied to a positive interpolation of their symplectic forms after an orientation-preserving diffeomorphism.
