For $A\rightleftharpoons 2B$, ${\alpha }^2/(1-\alpha )=K_N/(4M)$. The left side increases monotonically on $0<\alpha <1$, so increasing the conserved formula-unit density at fixed temperature reduces dissociation in the ideal model.
