 Glycogen phosphorylase

Glycogen phosphorylase is an enzyme involved in glycogen breakdown. Its activity is the readout in the extract-transfer experiment under second messenger; see that experiment's primary references. A change in enzyme activity need not mean production of more enzyme protein.
